Requires
- macOS Tahoe (only tested version so far)
- Apple Silicon or Intel
- 8 GB or more RAM to run the AI locally: nenva's own small model on 8 to 16 GB, larger open-weight models from 32 GB. nenva Cloud, your own server or your own OpenAI or Anthropic key are the other options
- The local AI engine (llama.cpp) installs itself during setup
Privacy
Everything runs on your Mac. No telemetry, no tracking, no cloud servers by default. And the full source code is public, so you can check every claim yourself.
